Ocean Animals and Creatures From the Sea

Ocean animals, creatures from the sea began with my trying to capture the beauty of dolphins in dolphin paintings. On the left, you will see what is so far the only painting I have yet done on both sides of the glass. Beginning the reverse painting on glass with the last thing that came into view, of course I started with the actual dolphins, and some of the water spray. When I had that part done, I was so happy with that small piece of my work, that I decided to leave it on the fornt side of the glass, and finish it on the other , yet unused side of the glass.

The reverse painting on glass on the right is painted entirely on the back side of the glass.

The dolphin painting on the left is done with the dolphins on the front of the glass, and the water is on the reverse side of the work. However, not all of my sea creatures are what one might expect to view on any given day. That is if you are in the ocean, I suppose.

Now, in an effort to return to reality, we might actually be able to spot one of these on a deep sea fishing trip... If I see that whatever it is, is beautiful, I am probably going to try to paint it. There is so much beauty in the sea, that I hope I don't spend too much time there.

"Sea Turtle" is an exceptional painting in that while working on it, I broke off a couple of corners, and thanks to the guys at Erie Glass in Rome, the painting survived even the damage that I had done.
