Latest Work

This is my latest work that I finished recently, with the photograph that I worked from. I didn't know the man before, but I almost felt as though I did after the painting.

"Husky" is painted in a window sash that the outsude dimensions of measure 19" x 23", I finished painting it in August, 2008. The price of it is $175 plus s&h.

"Fishing Boy" measures 12" x 24". The frame that it's mounted in is slightly over 2" wide. This painting was completed in August, 08, and the price is $225.

"Fishing Grizzley" is painted in a large window sash that at present is escaping me. I just came in from the gallery, unable to find it, but I know it's there. The price will be $225 when someone finds it.
These "Buck Fever" paintings are among my latest work, and available in a kit for those who would like to try their hand at a reverse painting on glass. The price is $38 plus s&h. For more info,

Another thing that I have been working on, is kits for kids. Any one who can read could complete these reverse glass paintings. They also include paintings for the holidays, as seen below.

The most recent pieces of my work in reverse painting on glass, and my husband, Richard's work in lathe art. This is the page where you can find his and my most recently finished paintings. For me, these are the exciting paintings, second only to the work still in progress! This is where you need to be to see what's new in reverse painting on glass, the last paintings that we have finished.
At the end of the year 2007, my husband and I got married. It was a small ceremony, but what we wanted. The point I am getting to is that my name changed, so now my paintings will be signed with the name 'Tagliere'. By the way, we are very happy!
After the painting is complete, and this takes several time-consuming steps, it needs a backing to protect the paint from being scratched off the glass. Even the wire to hang it with can scratch off the paint. For the smaller paintings in commercial frames, a snugly fit piece of cardboard is usually enough. For the larger paintings or the work done in window sashes, I cut thin plywood to fit, and attach it to the back.
