Fall-Folliage, The Colors of Fall

Fall-folliage is one of the things that even an amature at photography, such as myself can enjoy and make the most of! The colors that we see at this time of year are unlike those of any other season. My husband and I had our honeymoon the third week of October, and it really made the driving fun for a change! We meandered all around New York State. This is the season that make people want to live this far north. Normally, I am working on my reverse painting on glass, however, everyone needs an occasional break, and what better way is there to do that?

During the five days that we spent doing this, we drove almost 700 miles. Some of the best Fall colors, you know the type, when things look really ripe, were on State Route 20. It was between the Finger Lakes region and Madison, which is south of Rome.

The prime places always vary from one year to the next. I still need to do my leaf peeping every year, though!

These 8" x 10" photographs can be purchased for $5 each, or 4.50 for lots of five or more.
