Erotica-in-Art

Erotica-in-Art is something that has been done since time began. The artwork found on the walls of caves from the dawn of mankind is erotic. When I thought about writing this page, my first idea was to make a place for the artwork I paint of erotic subjects. My second thought was that it's rather erotic that I ended up painting on glass, anyway. My final thought on this matter is, that when you think about it, all art is erotic. So, I guess that we'll just stick to the subject matter for now. This will include, but not be limited to, angels, fairies, unicorns, and things you will probably not see in the course of a regular day.

"Mermaid with Baby" is smaller than it used to be, due to an unfortunate mishap. How ever it will be cut down to a smaller painting, and reframed.

Not knowing what Daniel Webster might have to say about it, I define the word erotic as sensual, as in stimulating the senses, and not necesarily in a sexual way. For me, it's more of a mystery than any thing else. More of a thing that you would like to learn about, but possibly may never. The things that my childhood was, and dreams occasionally still, are made up of. A place for fairies-angels-dragons to dwell. Erotica-in-Art is truly a personal word phrase.
