'Wolf at Sunset' is painted in a window sash. The price is $115. Animal art silhouette paintings is yet another form of reverse glass painting that can be very striking;an art form that can say so much with a minimum of color, putting the emphasis on the structure, or main theme of the painting. Not to say that it's simply a black and white effect, but sometimes, more of a shadow and color effect. When a person looks, it compells them to look for more. If the painting is sucessful, that person will see 'almost' all of what they want to. There are times when some things should be left to the imagination. This way, the viewer of the painting is able to 'finish' it to their own liking. Now as a viewer in life, how often do you get the opportunity to finish a painting?
"Howling Wolf" is priced at $95.
As you can see, the emphasis in the painting on the left is on the two ostrich. the background is indistinct, yet needed.
"Lady on the Beach" was painted in the door of a small cupboard. The door with the hardware was the only part left of the cupboard, so I used what I had. The exterior measurements are 29" x 16". The finished painting is priced at $145 plus s&h.
