Animal Art Silhouette

Animal art silhouette paintings is yet another form of reverse glass painting that can be very striking;an art form that can say so much with a minimum of color, putting the emphasis on the structure, or main theme of the painting. Not to say that it's simply a black and white effect, but sometimes, more of a shadow and color effect.

When a person looks, it compells them to look for more. If the painting is sucessful, that person will see 'almost' all of what they want to. There are times when some things should be left to the imagination. This way, the viewer of the painting is able to 'finish' it to their own liking. Now as a viewer in life, how often do you get the opportunity to finish a painting?

'Wolf at Sunset' is painted in a window sash. The price is $115.

"Howling Wolf" is priced at $95.

As you can see, the emphasis in this painting is on the two ostrich. the background is indistinct, yet needed.

Much the same can be said for this painting of an elk. There isn't any unneeded detail in the elk, basically just the outline of the body structure.

"Fairy Holding Orb"

Some of the reverse painting on glass is done so that the silhouette is done in the back ground rather than in the subject of the painting, but the idea of being surrounded is still there.

"Seaside Pelicans" is priced at $175.
